Mécanisme d'action
Human monoclonal IgG1 antibody directed against Kunitz domain 2 (K2) of TFPI that neutralizes TFPI activity and enhances coagulation.
Posologie adulte habituelle (résumé de la notice)
Routine prophylaxis in hemophilia A or B, adults and patients 12 years and older: loading dose 300 mg (two 150 mg injections) subcutaneous once
Grossesse et allaitement
- Grossesse
- Unsafe May cause fetal harm based on how it works (it blocks a natural anticoagulant, TFPI); no human data and no animal reproduction studies. Antibodies cross the placenta. Use effective contraception during treatment and for 2 months after the last dose.
- Allaitement
- Unknown No data on passage into milk. As a large antibody, milk levels are likely very low and poorly absorbed. LactMed: use with caution, especially with a newborn or preterm infant; waiting 2 weeks after birth may reduce transfer.

Précautions particulières
- Thromboembolic events may occur; interrupt prophylaxis if findings consistent with thromboembolism occur. Not studied in patients with prior thromboembolic events.
- Hypersensitivity reactions (including urticaria and pruritus) may occur; discontinue and seek emergency treatment if severe.
- May cause fetal harm; advise effective contraception during treatment and for 2 months after last dose.
Informez votre pharmacien ou votre médecin en cas de grossesse ou d'allaitement, de maladie rénale ou hépatique, d'allergies, ainsi que de tout autre médicament ou complément que vous prenez.
