Rezafungin is an echinocandin antifungal drug.
Posologie adulte habituelle (résumé de la notice)
Candidemia and invasive candidiasis: 400 mg loading dose IV infusion, then 200 mg IV once weekly; safety not established beyond 4 weekly doses
Grossesse et allaitement
- Grossesse
- Unknown No human data. No harm to the fetus in rats or rabbits at about 3 to 5 times clinical exposure, and no effects on offspring development in rats. Use for invasive candidiasis if needed; untreated infection is a serious risk.
- Allaitement
- Safe No human milk data; it passes into rat milk. About 90% protein bound with poor oral absorption, so it is unlikely to reach the infant. LactMed: not a reason to discontinue breastfeeding.

Contre-indications
- Known hypersensitivity to rezafungin or other echinocandins.
Précautions particulières
- Serious hypersensitivity reactions including anaphylaxis; discontinue and treat appropriately.
- Infusion-related reactions (flushing, warmth, urticaria, nausea, chest tightness); slow or pause infusion and restart at a lower rate.
- Photosensitivity; advise protection from sun and UV exposure.
