Atogepant is a calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor antagonist.

Episodic migraine prevention: 10 mg, 30 mg, or 60 mg orally once daily, with or without food

- Unknown Limited human data. Animal studies showed lower fetal weight and skeletal variations above human exposures. UK/EU labels: not recommended in pregnancy; a migraine treatment with more data is preferred.

- Unknown Passes into milk in low amounts; no data on infant effects or milk supply. Weigh breastfeeding benefits against the mother's need; watch the infant.

- History of hypersensitivity to atogepant or any component of QULIPTA (reactions have included anaphylaxis and dyspnea).

- Hypersensitivity reactions including anaphylaxis can occur, even days after administration; discontinue and treat if they occur.
- New-onset or worsening hypertension reported postmarketing; monitor blood pressure and consider discontinuation if not otherwise explained or uncontrolled.
- Raynaud's phenomenon may develop or worsen; discontinue if signs or symptoms develop.
