Как действует
Inhibits cell-wall biosynthesis by inactivating multiple penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), resulting in cell death. Stable to hydrolysis by most beta-lactamases
Обычная доза для взрослых (кратко по инструкции)
Complicated Intra-abdominal Infection: 500 mg IV infusion over 1 hour q8hr x 5-14 days

- Unknown Limited human data; animal studies showed no harm. Doripenem is no longer marketed in the US. Carbapenems are used in pregnancy for serious infections when needed; meropenem has more experience.

- Safe No direct data, but other carbapenems (imipenem, meropenem) pass into milk in low amounts. LactMed: acceptable while breastfeeding; watch the infant for diarrhoea or thrush.
