Для чего применяется
Как действует
Photosensitising agent for photodynamic therapy. Photoactivation with non-thermal light at 652 nm after intravenous administration generates highly reactive oxygen species through interaction of temoporfin with light and oxygen.
Обычная доза для взрослых (кратко по инструкции)
Repeat course: a second course may be given at the physician's discretion, with a minimum interval of 4 weeks between treatments

- Unsafe No human data; animal studies showed reproductive toxicity. Do not use in pregnancy unless clinically required. Use effective contraception during and up to 3 months after treatment.

- Unsafe Unknown whether excreted in human milk; risk to infants cannot be excluded. Discontinue breast-feeding for at least one month after injection.

- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or excipients
- Porphyria or other diseases exacerbated by light
- Hypersensitivity to porphyrins
Кому следует соблюдать осторожность
- All patients become temporarily photosensitive; avoid direct sunlight and bright indoor light for the first 15 days. UV sunscreens give no protection.
- Local photoactivation toxicity may damage surrounding tissue, causing fistula, perforation, vascular rupture, infection and sepsis; shield normal tissue.
- Prevent extravasation; if it occurs, protect the area from light for at least 3 months
