Кратко
Isocarboxazid irreversibly inhibits monoamine oxidase, so serotonin is not broken down, and fluvoxamine is an SSRI that increases synaptic serotonin. Together they can precipitate serotonin syndrome with hyperthermia, agitation, clonus and autonomic instability, which can be fatal.
