What this interaction means in plain words

Arformoterol and Epinephrine can affect each other. The combination is often manageable, but it may need a change of dose, a change of timing, or extra checks while both are taken.

Arformoterol belongs to Respiratory; Epinephrine belongs to Endocrine.

Evidence level: Moderate

Why it happens

Additive beta-adrenergic receptor stimulation with intracellular potassium shift.

What to do

Monitor heart rate, blood pressure and serum potassium, especially with systemic epinephrine or cardiac disease. Use caution with repeated or high doses of epinephrine.
