Résumé

Two 5-HT1B/1D agonists (rizatriptan, almotriptan) given close together add coronary and peripheral vasoconstriction. Prolonged vasospasm and ischaemic events may occur.

Almotriptan and Rizatriptan are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
