Összefoglaló

Ifosfamide is a cytotoxic alkylating agent that depletes lymphocytes and neutrophils, so live attenuated measles, mumps, rubella and varicella vaccine viruses may replicate without control. This can lead to disseminated vaccine-strain disease and the vaccine also gives poor protection.

Mit jelent ez a kölcsönhatás közérthetően

Ifosfamide and Measles mumps and rubella vaccine are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.

Bizonyítékszint: High
