Per cosa si usa
Come agisce
Magnesium carbonate is a basic salt that neutralises gastric hydrochloric acid in the stomach, forming magnesium chloride, water and carbon dioxide. This raises intragastric pH and relieves symptoms of acid indigestion.
Dose abituale nell'adulto (sintesi del foglio illustrativo)
Upset stomach, sour stomach, acid indigestion: adults and children 12 yrs. and older 2 tsps. every 3 to 4 hrs.; maximum 8 tsps. daily for adults; not more than 2 weeks at maximum dosage except under doctor supervision
