Gravidanza e allattamento
- Gravidanza
- Safe Applies to urea creams and ointments for dry or thickened skin. Urea is a normal body substance and little extra is absorbed from the skin; animal studies showed no fetal harm. US 40% cream label: use only if clearly needed. Avoid large broken or inflamed areas.
- Allattamento
- Safe Applies to urea skin products. Urea is a normal part of breast milk and little is absorbed from the skin, so infant exposure is not meaningful. US 40% cream label: caution. Do not apply to the nipple or breast before feeds; wash hands before touching the baby.
