Sintesi
Rifampicin markedly reduces doravirine concentrations, which may lead to loss of antiviral efficacy and resistance. The combination is contraindicated in labeling.

Doravirine and Rifampicin are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
Doravirine belongs to Anti Virals; Rifampicin belongs to Anti Bacterial.

Rifampicin strongly induces CYP3A4, increasing doravirine clearance.
