Gamma secretase inhibitor that blocks proteolytic activation of the Notch receptor; dysregulated Notch can activate pathways that contribute to tumor growth.

Unsafe No data on passage into milk or infant effects. No LactMed record. US label: do not breastfeed during treatment and for 1 week after the last dose because of possible serious infant reactions.
