作用のしくみ
It binds a highly conserved region of the extracellular domain of mature RSV F protein (antigenic site II, amino acids 262 to 275); resistance-associated changes occur in this region.

- Hypersensitivity to the active substance, any excipient, or other humanised monoclonal antibodies.

- Allergic reactions including very rare anaphylaxis and anaphylactic shock, some fatal, have been reported; have treatment for severe hypersensitivity available immediately after administration.
- Moderate to severe acute infection or febrile illness may warrant delaying palivizumab; mild illness is not usually a reason to defer.
- Use with caution in patients with thrombocytopenia or any coagulation disorder.
