概要
Concurrent use may cause serotonin syndrome or opioid toxicity such as respiratory depression and coma. Long-acting buprenorphine cannot be quickly withdrawn, which makes any reaction harder to manage.

MAO inhibition combined with serotonergic opioid activity increases serotonin, and MAO inhibitors may also potentiate opioid effects.
