Resumo
Atazanavir is a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor, and eplerenone is a sensitive CYP3A4 substrate. Eplerenone exposure can rise markedly, increasing the risk of hyperkalemia. Labeling contraindicates eplerenone with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors.
