Rezumat
Live measles vaccine may cause progressive or disseminated vaccine-virus infection in patients immunosuppressed by oxaliplatin, and immunity may not develop.

Measles vaccine and Oxaliplatin are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.

Cytotoxic immunosuppression impairs control of live vaccine virus replication and reduces the immune response.

Avoid during oxaliplatin therapy and defer until immune recovery, generally at least 3 months after treatment ends.
