Selective inhibition of presynaptic norepinephrine reuptake
Обычная доза для взрослых (кратко по инструкции)
40 mg PO once daily initially; increase after ≥3 days to 80 mg PO once daily or divided q12hr

- Unknown Limited human data; studies to date do not suggest a clear rise in birth defects. Use only if benefit justifies risk; consider pausing treatment.

- Unknown No human milk data; passes into rat milk. Prefer an alternative; if used, watch the infant for irritability, poor feeding or weight gain.

Противопоказания
- Known hypersensitivity to atomoxetine or other components of the product (reactions included anaphylaxis, angioneurotic edema, urticaria, and rash).
- Taking a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), or within 14 days of stopping one.
- Narrow angle glaucoma (use was associated with an increased risk of mydriasis).

- Monitor growth of children ages 7 to 10 years during treatment with stimulants; may need to interrupt therapy in patients not growing or gaining weight as expected
- Risk of suicidal thoughts in children and adolescents
- Contraindicated in patients with Narrow-angle glaucoma
