Как действует
Bisphosphonate; binds to hydroxyapatite crystals in bone and inhibits osteoclast-mediated bone resorption; decreases mineral release and collagen or matrix breakdown in bone
Обычная доза для взрослых (кратко по инструкции)
Oral: The recommended daily dose is 2 tablets (1600mg sodium clodronate) taken as a single dose. Not recommended to exceed 3200 mg daily.

- Unsafe Bisphosphonate: binds to bone, and animal data show it crosses the placenta; it could affect fetal bone and calcium. Human data are limited. Not recommended in pregnancy or in women not using effective contraception.

- Unknown Not known if it passes into milk; little would be absorbed by the infant. The label says a risk cannot be excluded and to stop breastfeeding during treatment.

- While on treatment, these patients should avoid invasive dental procedures if possible.
- During bisphosphonate treatment patients should be advised to report any thigh, hip or groin pain and any patient presenting with such symptoms should be evaluated.
