Как действует
Fungicidal triazole that blocks ergosterol synthesis by inhibiting lanosterol 14-alpha-demethylase, causing methylated sterol precursors to accumulate and ergosterol to deplete, which weakens the fungal cell membrane.
Обычная доза для взрослых (кратко по инструкции)
Invasive aspergillosis or mucormycosis (adults): loading dose 200 mg isavuconazole IV every 8 hours for the first 48 hours (six administrations); then maintenance 200 mg once daily, starting 12 to 24 hours after the last loading dose.

- Unsafe No human data; animal reproductive toxicity. Must not be used in pregnancy except in severe or life-threatening fungal infections where benefit outweighs risk. Not recommended in women of childbearing potential not using contraception.

- Unsafe Animal data show excretion in milk; risk to infants cannot be excluded. Breast-feeding should be discontinued during treatment.

Противопоказания
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or excipients.
- Co-administration with ketoconazole.
- Co-administration with high-dose ritonavir (>200 mg every 12 hours).
Кому следует соблюдать осторожность
- Hypersensitivity including anaphylaxis may occur; discontinue immediately if anaphylaxis occurs. Caution in patients hypersensitive to other azoles.
- Infusion-related reactions (hypotension, dyspnoea, dizziness, paraesthesia, nausea, headache) occur; stop the infusion if they occur.
- Severe cutaneous adverse reactions such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome have been reported with azoles; discontinue if they occur.
