Как действует
Plerixafor inhibits the CXCR4 chemokine receptor and blocks binding of its ligand SDF-1α, which is involved in the homing of hematopoietic stem cells to the marrow. This results in leukocytosis and increased circulating hematopoietic progenitor cells.
Обычная доза для взрослых (кратко по инструкции)
HSC mobilization (NHL or MM, with filgrastim): 20 mg fixed dose or 0.24 mg/kg subcutaneously for weight ≤83 kg, about 11 hours before each apheresis, for up to 4 consecutive days; start after 4 days of filgrastim

- Unsafe Can cause fetal harm based on animal studies (embryo-fetal mortality, structural abnormalities in rats). Use effective contraception during treatment and for one week after the final dose.

- Anaphylactic shock and serious hypersensitivity reactions: observe for at least 30 minutes and until clinically stable; have anaphylaxis treatment available
- May mobilize leukemic cells; not intended for use in patients with leukemia
- Leukocytosis and thrombocytopenia: monitor white blood cell and platelet counts
