Кратко
Mifepristone blocks the glucocorticoid receptor, so it counteracts hydrocortisone and can precipitate adrenal insufficiency in patients on long-term corticosteroid replacement or treatment. Loss of steroid effect may cause hypotension and hypoglycaemia.
