DOH pharmacist exam (Abu Dhabi): what is official and how to practise

DOH publishes very little about the pharmacist exam itself. This page separates what is officially confirmed from what is not, then shows how MediHelp practice works and what it costs.

Short answer

The DOH pharmacist exam for Abu Dhabi is delivered by Pearson VUE. You need DOH approval first and you book through TAMM. The pharmacist question count, duration, pass mark and content outline are not stated on any official page we could read, so MediHelp does not quote them.

Official exam facts

Taken from our licence guide, checked against the official sources listed below. Where an official figure could not be confirmed, the page says so instead of guessing.

The DOH exam

The only official facts we could read are on Pearson VUE's DOH page: the exam is delivered by Pearson VUE, you need DOH approval first, and you book through TAMM. Nothing official that we could read states the pharmacist question count, duration, pass mark or content outline.

How MediHelp exam prep works

  1. Practise by topic, difficulty or weak spots. Choose a module, a difficulty or let the app pick the topics you get wrong most.
  2. Sit timed mock exams. Timed mocks of 25 to 150 questions, so the pace feels familiar before the real exam.
  3. Learn from every explanation. Each question explains why the right option is right and why the others are wrong, with public references you can open.
  4. Review what you forget. A spaced-repetition review queue brings back the questions you missed or flagged.
  5. Track progress, study offline. See topic mastery and results. Modules you bought also work offline.

Frequently asked questions

Who runs the DOH pharmacist exam?

Pearson VUE delivers the exam. You need DOH approval first and you book through TAMM, according to Pearson VUE's DOH page.

How many questions and what is the DOH pass mark?

We could not find an official statement of the pharmacist question count, duration or pass mark. Figures quoted by consultancies are unconfirmed, so check with DOH and Pearson VUE.

How many attempts do I get?

The unified Professional Qualification Requirements (3rd version, April 2025) grant three attempts across the UAE authorities, with one last attempt at a different authority after three failed attempts at another. Confirm DOH's own rule before you book.

Is the DOH exam the same as the DHA or MOHAP exam?

They are separate exams with separate booking routes. The attempts limit is shared across the UAE authorities. MediHelp has a separate question bank for each.

Are these real exam questions?

No. All MediHelp questions are original practice questions written to match the published blueprint and style. We never use leaked or recalled exam content.

Can I try it before I buy?

Yes. Every exam bank has free sample questions with answers and explanations.

Is it a subscription?

No. A question bank is a one-time purchase with nothing to renew. Gulf banks are not part of plain Pro+; they are sold as a bank, or inside the Pro+ yearly bundles.
