Grossesse et allaitement
- Grossesse
- Unknown No adequate human data; no harm in rat and rabbit studies. As an IgG antibody it crosses the placenta, mainly late in pregnancy, and exposure continues for months after the last dose; a pregnancy registry exists. EU label: as a precaution, preferable to avoid in pregnancy.
- Allaitement
- Unknown No milk data. EU label: a risk cannot be excluded in the first days after birth; afterwards use only if clinically needed. LactMed: likely very low in milk and partly digested by the infant; use with caution, especially with a newborn or preterm infant.
Effets indésirables signalés
- Injection site reactions
- Angioedema
Contre-indications
- Serious hypersensitivity to galcanezumab-gnlm or to any of the excipients.
Précautions particulières
- Hypersensitivity reactions (dyspnea, urticaria, rash; anaphylaxis and angioedema postmarketing) can occur, even days after administration, and may be prolonged. If a serious reaction occurs, discontinue and treat appropriately.
- Constipation with serious complications, including hospitalization and surgery, has been reported, usually after the first dose. Monitor for severe constipation; medications that reduce GI motility may increase the risk.
- New-onset or worsening hypertension has been reported, most often within 7 days of starting. Monitor blood pressure and consider discontinuation if no other cause is found or BP is inadequately controlled.
Informez votre pharmacien ou votre médecin en cas de grossesse ou d'allaitement, de maladie rénale ou hépatique, d'allergies, ainsi que de tout autre médicament ou complément que vous prenez.
