Résumé
Artemether, given with lumefantrine, can prolong the QT interval, and cisapride has a well-known risk of QT prolongation and torsades de pointes. Combined use may produce dangerous arrhythmias.

Artemether and Cisapride are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.

Additive QT prolongation; artemether may also modestly inhibit CYP3A4, which metabolizes cisapride.
