Résumé
Erythromycin is a CYP3A4 inhibitor and conivaptan is a CYP3A4 substrate and inhibitor, so concentrations of conivaptan may rise, causing excessive vasopressin antagonism with overly rapid sodium correction. Conivaptan labeling contraindicates potent CYP3A4 inhibitors.

Conivaptan and Erythromycin are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
