Összefoglaló
Aluminium-containing antacids can adsorb bile acids in the gut. This reduces absorption of chenodeoxycholic acid and may weaken its therapeutic effect.
Mit jelent ez a kölcsönhatás közérthetően
Aluminum hydroxide and Chenodeoxycholic acid can affect each other. The combination is often manageable, but it may need a change of dose, a change of timing, or extra checks while both are taken.
Aluminum hydroxide belongs to Gastrointestinal Tract; Chenodeoxycholic acid belongs to Gastrointestinal Tract.
Miért jön létre
Adsorption of bile acid by aluminium hydroxide in the intestinal lumen reduces absorption.
