Összefoglaló

Both drugs are dopamine antagonists that prolong the QT interval, so combining them raises the risk of torsades de pointes. Additive dopamine blockade also increases extrapyramidal effects and neuroleptic malignant syndrome risk.

Mit jelent ez a kölcsönhatás közérthetően

Amisulpride and Droperidol are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.

Bizonyítékszint: Moderate

Miért jön létre

Additive QT prolongation and dopamine D2 receptor blockade.

Teendő

Avoid the combination; use an antiemetic without QT effects. If unavoidable, monitor ECG and electrolytes.
