Összefoglaló
Barbiturates and benzodiazepines together produce additive CNS and respiratory depression. Amobarbital also induces CYP3A4 and may lower chlordiazepoxide levels, making the net effect unpredictable.
Mit jelent ez a kölcsönhatás közérthetően
Amobarbital and Chlordiazepoxide-clidinium can interact in a way that may be serious. Using them together is sometimes necessary, but it needs a deliberate decision by the prescriber, a plan for monitoring, and clear advice on the warning signs to watch for.
