Összefoglaló
Dichlorphenamide causes renal potassium loss and metabolic acidosis, and can lower serum potassium. Zoledronic acid mainly lowers calcium, magnesium and phosphate, so a direct potassium effect is not well established; electrolyte disturbances may still coincide.
Mit jelent ez a kölcsönhatás közérthetően
Dichlorphenamide and Zoledronic acid can affect each other. The combination is often manageable, but it may need a change of dose, a change of timing, or extra checks while both are taken.
Dichlorphenamide belongs to Miscellaneous; Zoledronic acid belongs to Musculoskeletal.
Miért jön létre
Possible additive electrolyte disturbances; the potassium-lowering effect of zoledronic acid is not well established.
Teendő
Monitor serum potassium, calcium and magnesium during treatment and replace electrolytes as needed.
