Chronic spontaneous urticaria (adults symptomatic despite H1 antihistamine): 25 mg orally twice daily with or without food.

Unknown Human data are insufficient. Rabbits had external malformations at 141 times human exposure; rats showed no effects at 126 times. A pregnancy registry exists. Use only if the benefit justifies the risk.
Allattamento
Safe No data on milk levels or infant effects. Highly protein bound with a half-life under 2 hours, so milk levels are likely low. US label: weigh benefits. LactMed: not a reason to discontinue breastfeeding.
