Sintesi
Apalutamide induces UGT1A1 and other enzymes, lowering cabotegravir concentrations, particularly with long-acting injectable cabotegravir. This risks loss of virologic response and integrase resistance.

Apalutamide and Cabotegravir are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
