Sintesi
The intranasal influenza vaccine is live attenuated. Corticosteroid-induced immunosuppression could allow vaccine virus replication and may also reduce the immune response. The risk is greater with higher or prolonged steroid exposure than with replacement-dose fludrocortisone.
