Sintesi
Mexiletine is a class IB antiarrhythmic with proarrhythmic potential and is metabolized by CYP2D6 and CYP1A2, while pimozide strongly prolongs QT. Combined use raises the risk of torsades de pointes and ventricular arrhythmias.
