Bosutinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that inhibits BCR-ABL kinase, which promotes CML, and also inhibits Src-family kinases including Src, Lyn, and Hck.

Unsafe Can cause fetal harm; animal studies showed malformations and fetal death. No human data. Use highly effective contraception during treatment and for 2 weeks after the last dose.

Unsafe No human milk data; it passes into rat milk. Breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment and for 2 weeks after the last dose.

  • Hepatic toxicity: monitor liver enzymes monthly for the first 3 months and as clinically indicated.
