Resumo
Alcohol, particularly in heavy or binge use, potentiates the effect of metformin on lactate metabolism and raises the risk of lactic acidosis. It can also cause unpredictable swings in blood glucose, and alcohol-related volume depletion may be worsened by dapagliflozin.
