Rezumat
Dichlorphenamide lowers serum potassium and bicarbonate, and azacitidine can cause hypokalemia and renal tubular acidosis. Together they may worsen electrolyte and acid-base disturbance.
Ce înseamnă această interacțiune, în cuvinte simple
Azacitidine and Dichlorphenamide can affect each other. The combination is often manageable, but it may need a change of dose, a change of timing, or extra checks while both are taken.
Azacitidine belongs to Oncology; Dichlorphenamide belongs to Miscellaneous.
De ce apare
Additive potassium loss and acidosis, with a plausible renal tubular contribution from azacitidine.
Conduita recomandată
Monitor serum potassium and bicarbonate at baseline and during therapy. Correct hypokalemia and review the need for dichlorphenamide if acidosis develops.
