Rezumat

Tadalafil potentiates the hypotensive effect of nitrates and the combination can cause severe, potentially fatal hypotension, syncope or myocardial ischaemia. Because of tadalafil's long half-life, the risk persists for a prolonged period after a dose. Use is contraindicated in labeling.

Nitroglycerin and Tadalafil are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
