Кратко
Safinamide is a reversible MAO-B inhibitor that can still raise serotonin when combined with reuptake inhibitors, so adding duloxetine (a serotonin-noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor) can allow serotonin to accumulate excessively. Serotonin syndrome (hyperthermia, clonus, agitation, autonomic instability) can be severe or fatal.
