Dimethindene competes with histamine for the histamine H1 receptor, reversible competitive inhibitor.

Adults and children above the age of 12 years: the usual daily dose is 3 to 6 mg of Dimethindene maleate, divided over 3 intakes.

懷孕: Unknown Oral drops or tablets: no human data; animal studies show no harm. Labels: use only if the benefit outweighs the risk; loratadine or cetirizine have more data and are preferred. Gel: little is absorbed, but avoid large or broken areas of skin.
哺乳: Unknown No milk data; no LactMed record. Oral drops: Polish labels advise against breastfeeding; a non-sedating antihistamine (loratadine, cetirizine) is preferred. Gel: avoid large or broken skin areas and never apply it to the nipple.
