用途
作用方式
Changes surface tension of gas bubbles and causes collapse of foam bubbles, thus allowing easier passage of gas and preventing gas pockets in gastrointestinal tract.
成人常用劑量（仿單摘要）
Gas Retention in Gastrointestinal Tract: 40-360 mg PO q6hr after meals and at bedtime PRN; not to exceed 500 mg/day

- Safe Not absorbed from the gut, so the fetus is not exposed. Acceptable for wind and bloating in pregnancy.

- Safe Not absorbed, so it cannot pass into milk; it is also given directly to infants. LactMed: no special precautions.
