摘要
Concurrent ACE inhibition and neprilysin inhibition greatly increases the risk of angioedema, potentially involving the airway. Dual RAS blockade also adds to hypotension, hyperkalemia and renal impairment.

Combined ACE and neprilysin inhibition reduces bradykinin degradation, causing bradykinin-mediated angioedema.

Do not coadminister; stop benazepril at least 36 hours before starting sacubitril/valsartan and observe the same interval in reverse.
