Summary

What this interaction means in plain words

Budesonide-formoterol and Dopexamine can affect each other. The combination is often manageable, but it may need a change of dose, a change of timing, or extra checks while both are taken.

Evidence level: Moderate

Why it happens

Additive beta-adrenergic stimulation causing heart rate effects and intracellular potassium shift.

What to do

Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, ECG and serum potassium during coadministration. Correct hypokalemia and reduce the dose of one agent if tachyarrhythmias develop.
