Summary
Yohimbine is an alpha-2 antagonist that increases noradrenergic activity and can cause anxiety, hypertension and tachycardia. Quetiapine blocks alpha-1 receptors and may cause hypotension and sedation, so the effects may partly oppose each other, and yohimbine may worsen agitation or psychosis. The net result is unpredictable.

Why it happens
Opposing adrenergic actions: alpha-2 antagonism by yohimbine against alpha-1 blockade and sedation from quetiapine.
