Résumé
Chlorthalidone is a thiazide-like diuretic, so adding it to a regimen containing hydrochlorothiazide duplicates therapy. This increases the risk of hypokalemia, hyponatremia, hypomagnesemia, volume depletion and hyperuricemia with little added benefit.
