Résumé
Cidofovir causes proximal tubular injury and can lead to acute kidney failure. Cisplatin is markedly nephrotoxic and ototoxic, so combining them compounds the risk of renal damage.

Cidofovir and Cisplatin are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
