Résumé

Both drugs depress the CNS, and combined use may cause profound sedation, respiratory depression, coma and death. Sodium oxybate labeling advises against use with other CNS depressants.

Midazolam and Sodium oxybate are not normally used together. Taking them at the same time is expected to cause harm or make one of them unsafe, so a different medicine is usually chosen for one of the two.
