Gravidanza e allattamento

Gravidanza
Unknown Not for use in pregnancy: weight loss offers no benefit in pregnancy and may harm the fetus (US label contraindication). No embryo toxicity or malformations in animals at high doses. Stop if pregnancy occurs; the EU label advises caution.
Allattamento
Safe Very little is absorbed; a small amount was found in one woman's milk. EU label contraindicates breastfeeding (no data); US label: caution. LactMed: unlikely to affect the infant; the mother should take a multivitamin at bedtime because it lowers fat-soluble vitamin absorption.
