Come agisce

Roflumilast is a phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE-4) inhibitor which, due to its selective inhibition of the PDE4 isoenzyme, has potential antiinflammatory and antimodulatory effects in the pulmonary system.

Dose abituale nell'adulto (sintesi del foglio illustrativo)

COPD: 500 mcg orally once every Day.

Sintesi del foglio illustrativo limitata alla prima riga di posologia; le sezioni complete sulla posologia sono nell'app.

Gravidanza e allattamento

Gravidanza
Unknown No adequate human data. No malformations in rats or rabbits; pregnancy loss, stillbirth and poorer pup survival at 10 to 49 times the human dose, and it disrupted labour in mice. EU label: not recommended in pregnancy; US: do not use during labour and delivery.
Allattamento
Unknown No human data; it passes into rat milk. US and EU labels: should not be used while breastfeeding. LactMed: over 97% protein bound, so milk levels are probably very low, but the oral drug is best avoided. Cream: use on small areas only, not on the breast.
