Sintesi
Deflazacort given chronically is immunosuppressive, and live attenuated vaccines such as measles, mumps, rubella and varicella can replicate unchecked in an immunosuppressed host. This can cause vaccine-strain disease, and the immune response to the vaccine is also reduced.
